The Archdioceses of Philadelphia provides a personal safety lesson for each level of the Parish Religious Education Program and mandates the lessons be taught during one session of the instructional year.  The session dates for 2023-24 will be announced on the PREP calendar.  The lessons, known as "Kid Talk"  are posted under the Safe Environment section.  You can review them at http://phillyocf.org/prep-resources/


Attached is the opt out letter if you decide to not have your child participate in the lesson.  However, your child will still attend class that day.  They will be pulled from their class during the short lesson and given something else to do until they can return to class.
